Our Growth TRAC was birthed out of a desire and deep conviction to raise up strong disciples of Jesus Christ!  The Bible is very clear that Jesus commanded us to continue His mission of helping people to grow in their faith:

 

Matthew 28:18-20 says:

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

 

It is our goal to provide opportunities for those attending Cornerstone Chapel to grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus and to become more familiar with His Word!  We want to help people become free, filled with the Holy Spirit, and flourish while living on mission in their workplaces, neighborhoods, schools, and in our community!

 

Growth TRAC includes four CORE classes that align with who we are here at Cornerstone Chapel.  We feel they are incredibly important to our relationship with Jesus and to our lives as believers.  These are each 90 minute classes offered every other month during first service (9:00am – 10:30am).  Childcare is provided!  Here is a brief description of each class:

 

FIRST STEPS is a great place to discover the next step in your faith!  In this class you will learn more about life at Cornerstone Chapel, how to connect here, and how you can serve and be a part of what God is doing in this church family and community!  Come discover who we are and what we’re all about because…our path matters!

 

FREEDOM is a class that reminds us of the healing and freedom that is available to us in Jesus!  We all struggle with wounds, bad habits, and negative emotions.  But we don’t have to live or stay this way. Jesus said “Do not let your hearts be troubled…”.  (John 14:1) We can choose to receive Jesus’ healing and learn to walk in His freedom because…our soul matters!

FIRE is a class all about the Holy Spirit!  What does our church believe about the Holy Spirit?  Who is He?  What does He do?  How can we be baptized in the Holy Spirit and live a Holy Spirit-filled life?  We believe that we all need to know the Holy Spirit more because…our faith matters!

FLOURISH is all about understanding God’s purpose for our lives and how to live on mission for Him every day!  As believers we are called to live like Jesus everywhere we go!  No matter what occupation or career path you take – God has a unique plan for you to represent Him there and to bring the name of Jesus and His truth and love into those environments.  We want to empower our church family to understand God’s call on their lives because…our purpose matters!

If you have already taken “Nextsteps” (now called “FIRST STEPS), we encourage you to sign up for FREEDOM, FIRE and FLOURISH, in any order, until you’ve completed all four.  If you have never taken “Nexsteps” we encourage you to start with FIRST STEPS!

 

Because of classroom space we are limiting classes to 12 people.  We will offer these classes every other month, so there will be plenty opportunity to experience all four CORE classes!
