Celebration of Life/Memorials

As the family approaches the anniversary of Ruthie's passing, they have named October 5th "Ruthie Day" they are asking for loved ones to help by donating to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. See below:

A Celebration of Rick's Life will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Cornerstone Chapel, 3939 Granger Road, Medina, Ohio. Visitation will take place from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., with the memorial service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 14, 2026 from 4-7pm at Lakeside Christian Church,

3535 Knollwood Ave. Akron, Ohio.

Celebration of Life Service will be August 15, 2026 at Lakeside Christian Church

3535 Knollwood Ave. Akron, Ohio.

Pre-service fellowship begins at 10am and the service will begin at 11am, with a reception to follow.

Elizabeth (Simon) Lee are missionaries in Thailand that were sent from Cornerstone Chapel years ago.

Our beloved mother went home to be with the Lord on August 5,2026, at the age of 104 years and 5 months. She lived a beautiful, meaningful life and was deeply loved by so many. Everyone who knew her felt her kindness and the peace of God through her.

We thank God for the gift of her long life and all the ways she blessed us. Though we grieve and miss her deeply, we rejoice that she is resting now in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

Until we meet again in our Father’s heavenly home.
