Trey Abney – Tuned In - Stress & Emotional Regulation Room 4

This breakout session provides a dedicated space for personal reflection, emotional regulation, and spiritual growth. Through guided examination, participants will engage in meaningful self-assessment to better understand their emotions and responses. This session encourages individuals to process their feelings in a healthy and faith-centered way, fostering personal development and spiritual renewal. Attendees will leave equipped with practical strategies for emotional regulation and a deeper awareness of how their faith can guide them toward growth and resilience.
 

Kirk Zehnder – Dealing with Sex & Gender Issues in the Local Church  Sanctuary

How should the local church respond when someone opposes and challenges the teachings of the Bible about sex and gender?  Does the local church have a strong Biblical understanding of this subject and are they prepared to share this with others?  Each participant will receive a free copy of the book, “The Bible on Sex & Gender,” by Kirk L. Zehnder, Atlantic FMP Representative and Director of Local Church Dynamics.  We will begin with a brief overview of the book, but we will focus the workshop on developing a heart for those who are truly seeking the truth and how to deal with those who openly oppose it, even trying to disrupt the local church.  We will finish with a time of questions and discussion.
