Welcome to W.O.W. Women’s Ministries---the women’s ministries of Cornerstone Chapel.

We are very excited to offer various opportunities for you to fellowship with other women of our congregation, and to grow in your walk with the Lord. We desire to cultivate an environment that is nurturing and safe for women to come together and minister to one another in love.

We want to challenge you to become all that Christ has called us to be, support and encourage one another, and give you the benefit of building Christ-centered relationships. Retreats

Periodically we set aside an extended time for worship, teaching, and fellowship.
How many of us have said… “I just need a little time away”? We ALL need this at one time or another. The purpose of these retreats is to rejuvenate our spirits, recharge our hearts, and refresh our minds!

Each retreat has a specific theme that directs the speakers to challenge and encourage us through God’s Word and personal insight. We invite guest speakers in or we hear from some of the women here at Cornerstone Chapel.

Every session is followed by a time of discussion to bring more thought and practical application to the lesson. And the last session is always followed by a time of ministry where we spend time before the Lord praying for each other! God has truly been faithful to move in our hearts during these weekends……won’t you join us next time?

Ladies' Night Out

Join us for a refreshing time as we enjoy a night of food, fun, and fellowship! Ladies Nights Out are designed to give us another chance to get to know each other. We plan activities like games, videos, picnics, and cookie exchanges, that are relaxing and entertaining for women of all ages.

These are great outreach events too, so invite your unsaved friends and family. We encourage you to come…relax…and experience Ladies' Night Out...see you there!

Ladies’ Christmas Brunch

On a Saturday morning in December, ladies get a chance to gather together and enjoy a few moments away from the busyness of holiday preparations. A beautiful brunch is prepared for them, the room is specially decorated, we sing, we laugh, we encourage one another to focus on the true meaning of Christmas and we celebrate the blessings of Christ’s birth.

Mother/Daughter/Sister/Friend Fellow-sip Tea

This event is on a Saturday morning, just before Mother’s Day. From the very youngest to the most treasured senior ladies, we gather for a time to celebrate being a girl. Each lady brings her own tea cup, a teapot and finger foods to share.

It’s a wonderful time to celebrate the blessings of family, fellowship and friendships among women. The day includes our luncheon and a brief program with guest speaker and a Christ centered dramatic or musical presentation.

Spa Ministry Team

The Spa Ministry Team of Cornerstone Chapel in Medina, Ohio is a group of Licensed Cosmetologists, Nail Manicurists, Massage Therapists, and those in training in these fields. We are simply using the talents and skills that God has given us to serve and bless others. Our team was formed as the result of a missions trip on which some of us ministered at a Battered Women’s Shelter.

Upon coming home, a vision grew in our hearts to bring this ministry to the hurting women in our own community. Our desire is to touch lives with the love of Jesus Christ through our hands by performing Spa services. We want to tell each woman that they are precious to God, and that He has a hope and a future for them. We minister locally at our county Battered Women’s Shelter, and occasionally at local churches, and with a purity program for teen girls at a local Crisis Pregnancy Center.
